Job role
We are hiring a talented Operational Procurement Team Leader to join our team in Bucharest office. The Team Leader will lead procurement operations, will ensure and set up efficient and compliant workflows to guarantee high quality for the transactions and processes within procurement area.
What you will do
· Manage the Operational Procurement team to ensure smooth service delivery
· Supervises or leads and develops people in accordance with the Allianz People Attributes, leadership values and relevant guidelines.
· Taking over responsibility for the team and ownership of its processes:
· Managing the task allocation, team performance results, ensuring business continuity during off time of the team (scheduling in advance the vacation/training period, business continuity plan, working attendance);
· Assistance offered to team members related to ordering topics and finance systems (SharePoint, Service Now, SAP CAP, Ariba, Success Factors);
· Providing process guidance, coaching and training to the team based on customer’s requirements;
· Keep the team motivated to deliver results at agreed standards;
· Enables the team to function effectively, follows clear priorities in alignment with the strategy and ensures that these are met.
· Operational excellence through process improvements, innovation and efficiency:
· Ensuring that all escalations are attended and resolved in time;
· Volume reporting and provider management;
· Process optimization and implementation;
· Acting as a touchpoint support between the team and main stakeholders;
· Developing and implementing new ideas for business growth, process optimization or transfer of new tasks within the team (especially during handover and transition process);
· Prioritizes, delegates and controls tasks, balances workloads and steers capacity in the team.
· Secures working conditions within which the employees are enabled to fulfil their tasks best and with high motivation.
· Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards and regulations by law.
· Communicates actively and ensures proactive information management and may guide employees through change initiatives.
· Performs with some guidance and oversight from more senior supervisor and coordinates work activities. Trains team members and provides input to employee performance evaluations.
· Understands how the team interacts within the area and how the objectives of the team contribute to the achievements of the area. Uses tact and diplomacy to exchange complex information within and across teams operating in closely related areas.
· Responsible for the quality management of all process documentation (SOPs, user manuals) elaborated by the team;
· Conduct the recruiting process for new team members;
· Manage different transitions and team growth
· Delivers team presentations, sets team meetings, results presentation – high level, coordinates the team members in order to meet customer expectations, 1 to 1s – mandatory.
· Act as an escalation point for stakeholders and suppliers
· Other management reporting and responsibilities as per the business needs;
· Ad-hoc reports, analysis, requests.
