About the role
- Manage and process complex motor claims, including fatalities, fire, theft, and uninsured motorist benefits, ensuring accurate liability determination, compliance with guidelines, and timely settlements within authority limits.
- Provide exceptional service to members by professionally handling internal and external customer queries, ensuring a positive claims experience, especially for complex and vulnerable cases, while adhering to service standards and KPIs.
- Comply with risk management policies, report risks and incidents, and maintain high-quality, accurate claim records while adhering to regulatory obligations, company policies, and service standards.
- Take personal responsibility for workplace safety, ensuring safe practices and compliance with health and safety procedures.
- Foster positive working relationships, demonstrate flexibility to support team needs, actively participate in training, and seek feedback to enhance knowledge, skills, and performance.
About you
- Previous experience managing a portfolio of motor claims or home claims, with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a willingness to help in order to make a real difference in the lives of our customers.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, you demonstrate strong empathy and understanding while supporting individuals in challenging or vulnerable situations.
- Analytical and data-driven, with strong attention to detail and effective organizational skills to manage tasks and solving challenges effectively.
- Excellent critical thinking skills with the ability to apply learnings across different scenarios
- Comprehensive understanding of policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, with the ability to apply guidelines effectively and ensure compliance with relevant standards
- Proficient in using technology, including MS Office and computer-based applications, with a flexible and adaptable mindset to embrace change effectively.
- A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
