You'll be responsible for

· 
Becoming a key point of contact for the legal function, to advise on technology, outsourcing and commercial contracts and legal matters pertaining to procurement, technology, corporate governance, and controls for Allianz Technology, and to provide consultation to other business functions regarding legal issues.

· 
Applying legal oversight to contracts, transactions, corporate governance, litigation, employment, intellectual property, information security, privacy, investigations, and real estate.

· 
Drafting legal agreements including technology, outsourcing and commercial contracts and complete vetting and negotiation of internal and external vendor arrangements, IT services agreements, software license agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and settlement agreements.

· 
Monitoring regulatory changes in areas of business requirements and supporting the relevant teams with interpretation and risk assessments/ mitigations.

· 
Facilitating the preparation of agendas for local governance, risk, or board meetings, when necessary, in consultation with the Central Legal Team.

 

About you

· 
Extensive experience in technology, outsourcing and commercial law, with demonstrated experience within an in-house legal function in financial services being strongly preferred.

· 
This role would likely suit a candidate with 4-6 years of post-qualification/admittance experience; however, we will consider applicants with greater or in some circumstances less experience. A current Australian practising certificate is required.

· 
Pays high attention to detail by completing tasks with thoroughness and accuracy and has the ability to quickly identify issues, errors, or inconsistencies within information.

· 
Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders to establish strong professional relationships and influence outcomes.

· 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
