Are you interested in strategic projects, current technological trends like Generative AI, and want to make a real difference with your work? Then this position, aiming at outstanding talents, is perfect for you!

With us, you have the opportunity to work directly in the office of the Head of IT Germany. As the counterpart to the CIOs of the insurance entities, the Head of IT Germany is responsible for delivering best-in-class IT services for Allianz’s insurance entities in Germany. Additionally, you will work closely with the Head of Integration & Transformation and contribute to selected workstreams of our IT transformation program. The goal of the transformation is to continue developing a future-proof and modern IT for Allianz, utilizing modern tools and technologies like Generative AI. You will interact with the consulting team, work on sub-projects and handle diverse tasks with high learning potential and professional guidance.

What you do

  • Support the Executive Assistant to the Head of IT Germany in day-to-day operations, including meeting coordination and stakeholder communications.
  • Conceptual preparation, organization, support and follow-up of internal and external management meetings, project appointments, IT executive committees and workshops.
  • Independent preparation of reports and presentations in German and English for leadership audiences.
  • Qualitative and quantitative analyses for the preparation of decisions and management deadlines; responsibility for (sub-) projects within the I&T Program in alignment with key stakeholders and topic leads.
  • Support selected workstreams (e.g. Global Collaboration, Process Enablement, Business Case, Vision 2028+) with research, documentation, and coordination tasks.
  • Structuring of complex work assignments and tracking of work packages across the transformation program.
  • Contribute to program-level reporting, status updates, and preparation of steering materials.

What you bring

  • Studies in Information Systems, Computer Science, (Business) Engineering, (Business) Mathematics, Business Administration and Economics — we also welcome applications from distinguished students of other fields!
  • Practical experience through relevant internships, e.g. in IT, at consultancies, in the financial industry, or in high-performance start-ups.
  • Strong interest in IT transformation, strategic projects, and executive-level operations.
  • Quick perception, goal-oriented and structured way of working as well as an eye for the big picture — even under time pressure; discretion and the will to go the extra mile.
  • Confident, professional appearance and strong communication skills in German and English.
  • Strong analytical skills, conceptual thinking, problem-solving skills and creativity.
  • Advanced MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams).
  • Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles and their practical use.

You can start immediately and are interested in a working student position (16-20 h/week) or an internship (38 h/week) for a period of ideally 6 months or longer.
