Head of Investment

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Chief Investment Officer to lead our investment activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the company's investment strategy and policy, playing a key role in shaping the company's future financial direction.

What you’ll do:

• Develop and implement the company's investment strategy and policy
• Propose and manage strategic asset allocations (SAA) and tactical deviations (TAA), Make short-term asset allocation decisions.
• Achieve investment results in collaboration with other business units
• Align asset portfolios with the company's liability profiles, liquidity, and capital position. Manage the Company's daily liquidity and prepare liquidity forecasts.
• Report to the Management Board on investments, portfolio status, and future projections
• Monitor market and macroeconomic news relevant to the company's investments
• Propose activities and monitor asset liability management (ALM)
• Oversee the entire investment process and analyze its effectiveness. Assess investment performance and portfolio risk.
• Act as a liaison with internal stakeholders: business units, finance team, top management, Allianz Investment Management
• Act as a liaison with asset manager (communicate the investment policy in line with the investment strategy, monitor performance)
• Lead, develop, and mentor the investment team

What you bring:

•  Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field (Master's preferred) and CFA certificate
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar positions within the financial sector, at least 2–3 years of leadership experience in investment function
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and strategic skills, IT, and data processing skills or affinity, basic familiarity with available AI tools such as ChatGPT
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with a proactive and structured mindset
• Decision-Making: Ability to work in a dynamic environment and make quick decisions
• Fluent English, both written and spoken
