About the role

We are looking for an accomplished and visionary Executive Central Functions Platform Lead to drive our global finance transformation journey, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA Finance and next-generation SAP technologies.

In this key leadership role, you will build and lead the SAP Finance Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Spain, acting as the global authority for SAP finance platforms and playing a critical role in shaping Allianz Group’s target IT architecture for finance. You will combine strategic thinking, deep SAP expertise and executive-level stakeholder management to enable sustainable, scalable and future-ready finance solutions across Allianz entities worldwide.

What you will do

• Act as the primary technical and strategic authority for SAP S/4HANA Finance and related SAP finance modules, including SAP BDC and SAP PaPM (Profitability and Performance Management).
• Build, lead and scale a high-performing Centre of Excellence in Spain, fostering innovation, collaboration, knowledge sharing and technical excellence.
• Define and own the target operating model, architecture and solution design to support global SAP S/4HANA roll-outs.
• Partner closely with Finance, IT and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration, adoption and value realization of the platform.
• Contribute to and align with Allianz Group IT architecture, ensuring finance transformation initiatives are fully aligned with the overall IT strategy.
• Provide executive-level reporting and guidance to senior leadership on program status, risks, opportunities and business value.
• Drive standardization, automation and continuous improvement across finance processes and SAP implementations.
• Mentor, coach and develop talent within the CoE, creating a strong pipeline of SAP and finance technology experts.

What you bring

• Proven experience in leading large-scale SAP S/4HANA Finance transformations in complex, international environments.
• Deep expertise in SAP finance modules and strong exposure to future-oriented SAP technologies (e.g. BDC, PaPM).
• Solid understanding of finance business processes and their end-to-end integration with IT platforms.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in building and managing Centers of Excellence or global teams.
• Executive presence with the ability to influence and communicate effectively at senior management level.
• Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to execution and delivery.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
