DATA & AI - JUNIOR BUSINESS TRANSLATOR

Job description

JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

The candidate will join the Data & AI – Business Translation team and support functional analysis activities for AI‑based solutions aimed at injecting AI into the Company’s processes to improve productivity, operational efficiency and effectiveness across the organization. She/he will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, define functional specifications, translate business needs into actionable AI solutions, and support testing phases. She/he will also coordinate project activities with business stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation in various business areas. 
•    Collect and analyze business requirements for AI and automation initiatives.
•    Support the definition of functional specifications for technical teams.
•    Prepare project documentation, user stories, and functional notes.
•    Execute functional and user acceptance testing for AI solutions.
•    Assist in designing performance models and KPIs to assess initiative impact.
•    Support stakeholder communication and coordination across business units.
•    Prepare guidelines, training materials, and manuals for solution adoption.
•    Contribute to promoting responsible and effective use of AI tools.

KEY REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

•    Master’s degree in Management Engineering, Economics, Physics, Mathematics (or related fields) or equivalent.
•    Experience (1–3 years) in business analysis, consulting firms, or similar roles.
•    Good understanding of AI concepts and functioning (LLMs, generative AI, automation).
•    Familiarity with agile methodologies.
•    Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
•    Ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical teams.
•    Proficiency with Office 365; Power BI is a plus.
•    Proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn.
•    Fluent in Italian and good proficiency in English.
