The Area is the home for AllianzGI’s distribution and marketing related tech and data products that contribute to our digital client experience and share technical or data dependency amongst each other (Marketing Websites, Digital Investment Engine, CRM and others).
The Business Analyst & QA Chapter Lead (f/m/d) holds a key leadership position within the Area, where you will be responsible for shaping and guiding a team of highly skilled Business Analysts and Quality Assurance related roles. In this position, you will ensure that your team consistently delivers impactful and high-quality business analysis and quality assurance management.
Working in a dynamic environment, you will closely collaborate with Product Owners and Product Consumers from Business as well as with the Area Tech and Business Leads and the Agile Masters/Coach to ensure that the capabilities of the chapter align seamlessly with business and technology goals.
You will play a dual role: both as a people leader, focused on developing and mentoring the chapter members, and as a functional expert, driving the adoption of best practices and standardized methodologies across your Chapter and across Distribution Tech and Data Products. Additionally, you will foster a strong sense of community amongst the chapter members, encouraging knowledge sharing and professional growth to elevate the team’s overall capabilities and performance.
This position will be based preferably in our Frankfurt office, but applications from other locations are also welcome, i.e. Munich, Paris, London, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taipei.
What you will do
- Promote best practices: Develop and implement standards, methodologies, and tools to optimize business analysis and quality assurance processes within the Squads
- Consult: Support chapter members within your Chapter in how best to interact with customers and stakeholders to understand their business needs, document business requirements and technical specifications and ensure adherence to high standards in quality assurance
- Engage in issue remediation: Support the Business Analysts and the Squads in remediating issues raised by consumers if and when necessary, especially if affecting more than one Product
- Create community: Organize regular meetings and workshops where chapter members can discuss best practices and new developments and promote knowledge sharing
- Performance management: Establish comparable target setting and performance metrics for all chapter members across Products in line with AllianzGI’s Application & Data Governance Framework and customer expectations and ensure continuous development of chapter members
- Individual development: support individual development and upskilling through regular feedback sessions and coaching. Discuss opportunities for chapter members to collect experiences within other Products or training opportunities
- Capacity management: work together with Product Owners and Area Business Lead in order to ensure the capacity of the chapter is allocated to the various Products in the most efficient way. Initiate changes if and where necessary
What you bring
Experience & knowledge
- Educational Background: Excellent university degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, Economics or related field of study
- Experience with AllianzGI technology landscape: In-depth knowledge of AllianzGI’s technology standards & landscape, in particular the applications related to Distribution and Marketing
- Business Requirements Insight: Strong understanding of the business requirements for Area products, with the capability to recognize and support activities that align with business objectives
- Asset Management Experience: multiple years of practical experience within an asset management company or as a consultant in this field is a must. The candidate needs to have a clear understanding of the operating model of an asset management company
- Product Integration: Comprehensive understanding of the relationships and dependencies among various distribution and marketing products, enabling effective management and seamless integration within the Area
- Experience with Microsoft PowerBI

- Community Building: skilled in creating and maintaining a collaborative Business/Data Analyst community, driving engagement, and the sharing of best practices
- Language Skills: fluency in English both written and spoken is mandatory, with additional languages considered an advantage
