JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Post expense accruals, process federal tax payments and reconcile balances
Reconcile and settle intercompany transactions within and outside the affiliated company group
Support preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements as assigned
Assist with state filings to the regulators at yearend
Archive records to satisfy audit and statutory requirements
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor Degree: Accounting
1-3 years of work experience, insurance reporting experience a plus
Excel Proficient
Experience with SAP/Cognos preferred
Knowledge of IFRS accounting
Knowledge of the P&C insurance industry and insurance accounting principles
Intermediate communication skills: Verbal and written
Intermediate: Ability to prioritize responsibilities and processes
