Marketing Intern

Job description

We are looking for an Intern to join our Sales & Marketing Team, possibly a student who is looking for more experience in Marketing and E-Commerce, together with SEO.
Salary is £50 a week for expenses, plus free breakfast (muesli, porridge or granola), for a 4-6 weeks period.

Alara is one of only two independent businesses manufacturing cereals in the UK and employs over 60 people. Our customers are: wholesalers, multiple-retailers, export distributors, food service and brand owners, many of whom have been with us for 20+ years.

Alara owns and manages several brands of organic, gluten free or functional muesli, porridges, granolas as well as superfoods.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be someone with an interest in copy-writing for food business. The successful candidate will work closely with the marketing and sales team to write short and long copy for the web.

This individual will also be responsible for create copy reviewed by other members of the organization. The copy reaches a wide global audience so attention to detail is necessary, as is the ability to adopt a tone suitable for the target marketplace.
The ideal intern's personality and qualifications is a student in Web marketing:
- Copywriting/content creation experience is necessary
- Excellent written English (native speaker preferred) with impeccable grammar
- Detail oriented & quality aware
- Experience working to short deadlines
- Flexible, positive attitude
- Excellent SEO copywriting skills - MUST
- Technical SEO
- Onsite and offsite SEO
- Well experienced in Google analytics
- Understanding of HTML and CSS
- Good understanding of SEO Tools
