£14,910 - £21,300 depending on experience

That business is AkzoNobel. We are currently recruiting a Technical Assistant for a Technical Assistant in our Application Team to support our Product Development and Product Support functions.

As Technical Assistant you will follow set processes and get involved with the application of fire protection and insulation products to agreed technical standards and deadlines. You will mainly prepare steel sections for application and testing using hand, airless spray application and plural spray applications. This will also involve drilling and adding fixing of thermocouples to sections as well as measuring and grinding applied coating thicknesses. Important will be the ability to comply with regulations and work safely.

Used to working in a customer focused environment, you must have the ability to work as part of a team as well as follow set processes. You will need an eye for detail, a good understanding of H&S regulations and quality production too. You will also be the sort of person who is passionate about excellence and delivers on commitments.
