Job description

We are seeking enthusiastic and ambitious Network System Architecture experts to grow our AKKA team in the automotive sector. As part of the Systems Engineering team you will be responsible for delivering custom electrical/electronic solutions in a wide variety of applications. The role will cover the full lifecycle of activities from customer interaction through to system specification, implementation, testing and final customer delivery.

 

TYPICAL TASKS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE:

·  Strategic support to clients, including one or more of the following: definition of optimum overall vehicle network and communication architecture
·  Evaluate network systems architecture implementation, features and ECU communication
·  Develop/improve specifications for vehicle products/features
·  Provide technical leadership in automotive electrical architecture

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

·  Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Software/Automotive Engineering or related field
·  Automotive network system architecture experience with automotive OEM/Tier 1 suppliers - to include expertise with AUTOSAR and industry standard communications stacks/tool chains
·  Intimate experience working with automotive network technologies including BroadR-Reach
·  Ability to use own initiative to take a proactive approach towards dealing with day-to-day tasks
·  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
·  Flexible team player
·  Customer focused

DESIRABLE:

·  Multiple domain specialties from the above would be an advantage
·  German language knowledge
