Job description
Demand for AKKA’s design services has never been stronger, today we have vacancies within our software engineering teams where you will be developing software solutions across broad aerospace domains from connectivity through to simulation in supporting commercial and civil aircraft projects.
Key Tasks & Accountabilities
· Development of SDR / Software defined radio solutions for on board aricraft
· Delivering aircraft connectivitty through LTE, 4G, 5G communications
· Full software lifecycle development (agile environment)
· Accountable for for your own software projects
· Functionality testing, debugging and analysis
Skills & Knowledge Required
· Embedded C, C++
· Linux
· PIKE O/s
· Airworthiness standards, DO 178B (domain knowledge helpful – training is available)
· Degree / HNC/ HND qualified
