QUALITY ENGINEER
Bristol
We have a challenging opportunity within our Quality department for an experienced individual to join our small team in our Bristol office.
This is a varied role which will involve managing and maintaining the existing Quality Management System, as well as developing and driving Continuous Improvement activities and strategies, both internally and with external customers.
Key Tasks & Accountabilities
Develop improvement plans that support the Quality Management strategy
Manage and maintain the Internal audit process
Maintain and develop the companies Quality Management System
Maintain and develop the Companies Customer Satisfaction process
Take overall ownership of the companies Quality related KPI’s eg. On Time Delivery and On Quality Delivery
Support the business in implementing Continuous Improvement activities
Manage own activities to achieve set objectives
Provide training and support in Quality related tools to other departments
Support Internal and External audits
Provide support to the Head of Quality to achieve business objectives
Support Quality Related Project management activities
Compilation of data, trends and statistics and Quality reports
Assess effectiveness of activities and improvement actions
Overall performance against set Objectives
On time reporting of KPI’s
Management of Internal audit process according to plan and within set timeframes.
Skills & Knowledge Required
Minimum of HNC in an Engineering or related discipline
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Good knowledge of AS9100
Excellent written and spoken English
Experience in the practical application of Improvement Tools, Techniques, and Continuous process improvement.
Knowledge of other industry standards (eg. IATF16949, ISO 14001)
Proficient in the use of MS Office and Visio
