Engineer Support Intern

Job description

Short-term contract to compile and investigate component reliability data.
An intern position has become available due to increased workload in our engineering / quality department.

• Evaluate component removal data and report findings and carry out trend analysis
• Review aircraft & component technical documentation to investigate reliability and make recommendations for improvements
• Collate and present data to departments internally as well as OEMs/Suppliers and customers
• Assist in review of engineering data for other departments

This role is expected to last 6 months on a full-time basis, working Monday - Friday 37.5 hrs a week on a fixed-term contract.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in aviation and aircraft systems and a good standard of education. This is a perfect opportunity for gaining skills in the aviation sector and specifically within aircraft and component maintenance.

Desired profile

Ideally a background in Aerospace Engineering.

Experience using Microsoft word and excel is essential. The ideal candidate will also be competent in using PowerPoint for presentations. Training will be given using technical documentation. Attention to detail is also required.

Experience in ERP is desirable.
