Based within the Cross Plant (X-Plant) Team, A400M FAL, Seville. The X-Plant Team represents all Airbus Commercial Plants in the frame of A400M programme at FAL. The X-Plant Team is responsible for managing standard Out of Sequence Work (OSW), coming from plants (‘Inflow’) and all non-conformities (NC’s, snag sheets, TLB’s, etc.), raised post-handover.
The jobholder is a member of the XPlant Manufacturing Engineering (ME) Team based in Seville, responsible for providing manufacturing expertise to support Out of Sequence Work (OSW), coming from plants (‘Inflow’) and all non-conformities (NC’s, snag sheets, TLB’s, etc.), raised post-handover.
The jobholder represents, coordinates and communicates X-Plant OSW analysis and actions aligned to, and on behalf of donating Airbus Commercial Plants. The jobholder is responsible to provide clear leadership and vision. To inspire, and motivate the X-Plant Team, and the donating Plants to achieve excellence aligned to ‘Route to Zero’ OSW principles.
Understand and be able to resolve HNCs, QSRs, QNs, FINOBs, TLBs, to create work orders for the operations team.
Define and Maintain the Stakeholder map for X-Plant OSW.
Act as Focal point for Airbus Commercial Plants into Seville FAL for OSW ‘Inflow’.
Act as Focal point for Airbus Commercial Plants into Seville FAL for ‘Reactive’ post-handover OSW.
Monitor and Report Inflow, and Reactive OSW by Plant.
Maintain shared X-Plant OSW Reduction matrix.
Identify Root Cause and Corrective>Preventive Action for primary drivers of OSW.
Define and maintain OSW Reduction Action Plans.
Lead and Manage OSW Reduction Projects across all Airbus Commercial Plants.
Present and Communicate OSW status and actions to all stakeholders – Internal (X-Plant), External (Plants & Functions).
ME with experience of Structures, Fuel Systems, Harness installation, Hydraulic systems, Bleed Air Systems (including BALDS installation).
Working knowledge of SAP APD.
Able to use CATIA, Trend, Airina and PASS SSI for product structure and aircraft effectivity.
Analytical skills / Bigger picture understanding.
Project management experience.
Good knowledge and experience of Microsoft and Google Tools (Excel, Sheets, etc.)
Strong adaptability and reactivity.
Ability to communicate clearly across all levels of the organisation.
Ability to build strong relationships, stakeholder management.
Proactive approach to problem solving.
Can do spirit / Positive attitude.
A negotiation level in English and Spanish is mandatory.
