Description of the job

You are a full time student, looking for a working student position and you would like to support the supply management team? Then apply now! We look forward to you joining us in the department “Outboard Systems” for 15-20 hours/week (flexi-time).

Location: Donauwörth
Start: beginning 2019
Duration: 6-12 months

Envisioned project would be the creation or continuation of a Product Sourcing Policy for selected Commodities (Lights/Panels, Floatation) of selected Airbus Helicopter platforms.

Tasks & accountabilities

The main task is to create an analysis of the existing Commodity status (Technologies, Suppliers, Turn Over, International Footprint, ....) in order to describe the AS IS situation. Out of this AS IS situation the TO BE Product and Sourcing Strategy will be developed. This shall be done under consideration of the overall Airbus Group objectives like Internationalization, Standardization, Simplification, etc. The applicant will assist and be supported by the responsible Buyer of the Commodity. The assistance of the Buyer can also include the support in daily activities and tasks.
Due to the transversal task (Marignane, Donauwörth, Subsidiaries involved) travels on occasion are possible. Main Interfaces are Engineering, Support and Program departments within Airbus Helicopters.

Required skills

You offer:

·  Enrolled full time student within Business Administration or equivalent

·  Good background in Business Administration and/or Engineering

·  English/German: good language skills

You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently.
