Description of the job

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.

We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 18 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). Tasks & accountabilities

·  Do you enjoy facing a different challenge every day? Are you creative in the way you can present data and information? Do you have a can-do attitude but still maintain a keen eye for detail?
·  If so, an exciting placement opportunity has arisen within the Channel & Marketing team of Secure Communications. The team are made up of four key areas; Operational Marketing (Marcomms), Digital Marketing, Voice of Customer and the Channel Partner Programme. With this placement the candidate will be given the opportunity to get involved primarily in two areas – Operational Marketing and Voice of Customer, and support some of the action plans coming from Voice of Customer and turning them into marketing campaigns as well as involvement in two of the hottest markets in the business right now, NATO and a new solution offering Network for the Sky both of which offer the business tremendous growth potential. The candidate will be involved in analysis of these key markets, define the market positioning, and participate in the challenging launch of new solutions. Also take a key creative role in Airbus' attendance and messaging at various events around the globe. Understand how we excite our customers and bring satellite communications and secure networks to life.

Tasks & accountabilities

·  Voice of Customer Operational Surveys

o Building, running, analysing and reporting operational surveys
o Attend Limesurvey training and act as internal trainer
o Capture requirements and build / adapt surveys as necessary in Limesurvey
o Work with (internal) customer, ie. project / service / sales lead to finalise survey and ensure they understand process
o Support interviews where possible / appropriate
o Run reporting and high level analysis, contribute to identifying issues and setting up follow up workshops
o Monitor and chase progress on follow up action, and maintain close the loop database (including those outstanding / ongoing from previous activities)

·  Airbus CRp Activity 2018/2019

o Support NATO and German CRp activities (depending on placement start date) – likely to be the mid to end of the process, so will definitely include the feedback session and follow ups
o Support planning of 2019 UK and France CRp, and implementation
o Join training and support the interviews and establishment – in advance – of feedback action planning methodology

·  Operational Marketing

o Organise events and define Airbus positioning in line with the Airbus digitalisation drive
o Bring creativity in designing brochures, posters and various marketing material
o Promote the new Outsourcing and Contractor Services business internally and externally
o Press monitoring into relevant markets for NATO & Scandinavia and Global Aero, US & ASIA business
o Analyse future events which may be of interest for NATO & Scandinavia and Global Aero, US & ASIA business
o Competition analysis incl. marcomms activities of our competitors
o Support Sales community with SalesKIT creation, and renewal
o Promote Aero profile/services internally within the business through site events

Required skills

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills/attributes/knowledge:

·  At minimum, a 2:1 degree in Marketing, Business Management, Social Science or related subject. We will consider Engineering degrees alongside relevant business experience.
·  Must be a confident character with the ability to influence
·  Customer centric - understands needs and places at the heart of everything
·  A desire to work in an international environment and to be part of the success of the Secure Communications business cluster
·  Excellent communicator and strong relationship developer
·  Comfortable with pace as opposed to perfection
·  As the role is split across two areas, the ability to manage and plan your time is must
·  Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking, but knows how to combine with creativity
·  Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
·  Fluent in English and French are a strong advantage
·  Knowledge of the military industry is advantageous
