In order to support our team, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a
Test Engineer for Avionics and Weapon Integration (d/f/m)
Our domain “Integration Test and Analysis” is part of the center of competence “Flight and Integration Test Center”. We are working on the verification and integration of (sub-)systems on test bench and aircraft level and, at a progressive rate, on combinations of various test levels – either live, virtual or constructive (from Virtual Testing up to “System of Systems” testing).
We usually work within an international setting with stakeholders sitting in various countries. As a team member you will work with highly complex systems and challenging environments. You will be part of a very ambitious and motivated team.
This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

Your tasks and responsibilities
·
Review of avionic system requirements and design
·
Definition of test cases, scenarios, and procedures to verify system requirements, as well as developing test scripts
·
Conducting system integration tests in avionic rigs
·
Analysis of test results/data and reporting, including deviations and system problem reports
·
Definition of testing requirements for and qualification of rig components
Desired skills and qualifications
·
Graduate (Bachelor's or Master's degree) in aeronautical engineering, computer science or a related field, or a comparable vocational education and relevant advanced trainings followed by several years of relevant experience
·
3-5 years of experience in the field of (sub-)system integration tests, especially in the area of fighter avionic systemsProgramming skills (desirable C/C++, ADA, Python, ATL)
·
International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Certification, as well as knowledge in the field of software testing would be a plus
·
Interest in complex systems, readiness to learn continuously, especially about test and system engineering methods, processes and tools
·
A very good command of the English language, both written and spoken
·
A good command of the German language would be a plus
