Description of the job

A vacancy for a Supportability Engineer - Maintainability (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join “TASSE3 - Supp. Engineering Trsp./Miss. GE”

Desired profile

Tasks & accountabilities

·  Analysis of maintenance requirements and assessment of logistics resources
·  Development of logistic-relevant design requirements and their integration into the design documents
·  Preparation of maintenance, inspection and repair concepts
·  Allocation of logistics-relevant design requirements within the product / system structure
·  Contribution to the availability concept and related analyses, tests and demo plans
·  Implementation of RAMT analyses, tests and demos to detect and forecast future behavior, skills and characteristics in the corresponding areas
·  Influencing the design based on the results of RAMT analysis, tests and demo
·  In Service Maintenance Optimisation (ISMO)
·  Close communication with other disciplines in the development process

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Completed studies (engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering; focus on: Mechanical engineering/mechanics/design desirable) or comparable education
·  Experience in a comparable position
·  Analytical skills
·  Fluent in German and English
·  Experience in the aerospace/defense industry advantageous
