Description of the job

A position of Support to Service Owner for PDM applications has just opened within Airbus Defence & Space in Toulouse. You will join the PDM Configuration & Documentation (TZIEC1) department inside the Information Management (IM) team in Toulouse.

Within the PLM (Product Life Management) Solution, Airbus Defence & Space has chosen Windchill for supporting its PDM (Product Data Management). The Windchill Solution is deployed on several sites and interfaced with different tools (MCAD, ECAD, MPR, MES…). Since previous year, another main component has been deployed inside our PDM solution: a framework based on ThingWorx technology. This framework is used to implement several new applications, mainly for Quality management, as well as an alternative to Windchill GUI for casual users.

The parameterization/customization of our PDM solution is provided by an external integrator. The operational support of the system is managed via a subcontractor bundle.

The solution is deployed for our Space Business but the deployment for new Business like CIS, Orbital, CASA ... is on-going. These deployments require an extension of the instances of our solution in Europe (France, Germany, UK and Spain).

For France:
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

Tasks & accountabilities

You will be responsible for the following activities:

·  Contribute to the IM roadmap definition,

·  Support deployment management for new Business,

·  Support on the management and follow-up of the different specific business requests performed by the support team, in coordination with the business and the support team,

·  Support for organize, synchronize, mobilize and support the actors (infrastructure team, network team, support team) for the different infrastructure and network changes impacting the services, as well as for specific business requests,

·  Contribute to the definition of support processes for the new services (SLAs definition),

·  Support on management of technical activities from infrastructure team (server, network, database, PC) in charge to provide Windchill/ThingWorx infra related to such deployment,
•Support Windchill/ThingWorx service owner:

·  To manage Airbus Defence & Space relationships with Windchill Editor (PTC), Connect Windchill integrator and Connect Windchill support provider,

·  Work closely with IM representative in charge of the other components of the Airbus Defence & Space PLM Solution

·  Work closely with the project managers of the team in order to integrate the deliveries of the projects inside of our instances landscape.
The holder will have to manage technical aspects as well as planning and budget for activities/packages for which she/he will be responsible. She/He will be also in charge to support the technical relationships with editors, integrator and subcontractors.

These activities are often cross countries oriented (actors in GE, FR, UK and SP).
Business travels can be expected (3 to 4 times in a year) in Europe and consequently, you must be willing to travel accordingly.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates having an Engineering degree or Master's degree, in Information Technology with the following skills (no experience required, training will be supported):

·  Capabilities to define & manage planning,

·  Capabilities to coordinate internal/external team,

·  Knowledge in information system architecture,

·  Knowledge of the PLM processes, mainly for the PDM, but also for the CAD, ERP/MRP & MES area will be appreciated,

·  Communication capabilities,

·  Excellent interpersonal skills,

·  Team spirit and autonomy,

·  Innovation oriented,

·  Negotiation level of French and advanced level of English
