This internship will be based in the Supply Chain team within the Procurement function. This team is responsible for the end to end supply chain on all procured products being delivered to ADS UK for our Space, CIS and UAS business lines. This includes satellites, space equipment (i.e. the Mars Rover), Secure Communications and the Zephyr project. They will deal with suppliers from across the world and with a huge variety of technological solutions and cultures. The individual will experience a dynamic, challenging and varied learning environment.

Task & accountabilities :

During this internship, the activities you may undertake will include;

·  To support improvement projects across the UK organisation: KPI tools modification and implementation, value stream mapping exercise to understand the supply chain performance, detailed analysis in supply chain needs and forecast for the next years are some of the improvement activities
·  To support local team activities: weekly meetings, supply chain reports, daily work
·  To understand the Supply Chan processes and roles of the Supply Chain organisation.
·  To learn how the Supply Chain organisation fits not only in procurement but into the organization.

Our Internships are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following;

·  Studying in a Business related degree, or Engineering with a Supply Chain element.
·  Proactive and curious character with a keen interest in our industry.
·  Capability to work in a structured manner.
·  Capability to analyse data and improvements
·  Interest in technology and aerospace industry

The successful candidate will be subject to UK National Security Clearance in order to undertake related work in accordance with business needs.
