Description of the job

Are you willing to challenge the way we work and bring new and refreshing approaches to aircraft design and analysis?

Do you love connecting people and collaborate with many different organisations? This job will give you the opportunity to work with chief engineers, a multi-disciplinary team, both engineering & manufacturing suppliers and end customer Airlines.

You have a highly innovative personality focussed at delivering the right solution for some diverse and challenging structural requirements. You will have a background of structural analysis of hybrid metallic – composite structures and a knowledge of composite and thermoplastic technologies

Within today's framework, it is not easy to deliver a structural analysis that offers time to entry into service, mature first time and cost effective solutions that our customers desire.

ABOUT US:

We are a team of 120 people.which today perform design engineering tasks across the full life cycle of the aircraft and product lifecycle, We:

 Create the next A320 family variant
 Develop the Series aircraft including major initiatives of design for cost and rate
 Support the in service fleet
 Research and develop concepts for the next generation of aircraft in our family

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

·  You will analyse structures that are innovative and offer benefit to existing products and new increments. You will prepare the future product family.

·  You will contribute structural analysis borne from experience in aerospace, other industries or research environments

·  You will modernise, digitise and revolutionise our product

·  You will bring your knowledge and experience in composites, thermoplastics and stress/structures analysis skills and help develop others

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Required skills

ABOUT YOU:

You are:
o A fun teammate and enjoy socializing
o Able to step back and propose new ideas
o Naturally curious and fearless of asking questions

You have:
o Studied structures engineering and have a stress or structural analysis background, ideally having approved analysis and justification documents in previous experience
o A basic knowledge of overall aircraft design & structural analysis
o Knowledge and experience of composite structures. You have knowledge of wet and dry fibre solutions, a range of composite manufacturing techniques, thermos plastics and injected moulded plastics

You would be a perfect match if you had knowledge of Airbus analysis tools, FEMs and nonlinear methods.

Working in Airbus implies to working in an international environment, as such you shall be able to communicate easily in English. You will work in a diverse and multi-national environment. Other languages and experience of a wide range of cultures is therefore beneficial.
