Job Description

Ecosystems Development Architect

Reporting directly to the Head of Solutions Architects you will oversee the development and engagement of the Connectivity ecosystem to support the ongoing architecture and design for Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) connectivity platforms.

This involves industry-wide engagement to ensure the strategic elements for the continued evolution of the High Altitude Platform Systems (HAPS) marketplace which includes and benefits the programme.

You will help build definition of the ecosystem roadmap, planning and engagement to meet the programme needs.

This transversal role will ensure the industry, supply, standardisation and approach to offering HAPS services in the market meet the programme and customer needs.

This role can be either based at our site in Farnborough, Hampshire or in Munich, Germany with frequent international travel.

Tasks and Accountabilities

·  You will work with and responsible for Connectivity authorities
·  You will be a trusted advisor to the business on industry bodies and development requirements
·  You will develop and create suitable architectural deliverables that provide solutions to meet the programme requirements
·  You will achieve business approval for ecosystem deliverables
·  Requirements specification and engagement with industry bodies/partners
·  Definition and development of a service orientated approach for UAS connectivity
·  Develop technical and operations ecosystem specific proposals
·  Manage high-level ecosystem roadmap for developing standards and capabilities
·  Market watch of emerging developments and industry capabilities for UAS
·  Support Head of Connectivity and Head of Solutions ensuring successful alignment and support to Connectivity services and requirements

Skills

·  5+ years experience within Telecommunications
·  Familiarity of service and eco system development
·  Experience working in a marketplace development and similar environment with an interest in new Service Development and ecosystem creation and engagement
·  Requirements management including capture control and traceability
