Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Software Quality Engineer (M/F) to join our Avionics & Simulation department based in Toulouse, France.

You will join Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Toulouse in the Avionics & Simulation department.

In the frame of Commercial Aircraft development and Manufacturing business, Avionics & Simulation is a department performing design, development, production and support for the main critical calculators embedded on Airbus aircrafts (i.e Flight Control, Flight Warning, Air Traffic Management).

Your challenges:

· 
Software Certification & Compliance : Ensure certification of critical avionics software in compliance with applicable aerospace standards (e.g. DO-178C) across the full equipment lifecycle.

· 
Methodological & Process Support : Provide structured support to development teams to ensure timely and quality-compliant software delivery.

· 
Lifecycle Quality Assurance : Drive software quality assurance from development to production and in-service phases, addressing any non-conformities and ensuring continuous compliance.

· 
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Interface effectively with software teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders in Program Management, Architecture, and Electronic Development to guarantee end-to-end quality.

· 
Process Planning & Internal Reviews : Plan and lead process assurance activities, review development documentation, and secure customer milestones through quality gates and internal audits.

· 
Continuous Improvement & Lessons Learned : Manage root cause analysis (e.g. PPS), coordinate feedback loops, and contribute to the evolution of Airbus’ software quality and assurance standards.

Your boarding pass:

· 
A Quality Software development experience on industrial software is recommended.

· 
Business Improvement tools.

· 
Quality fundamentals.

· 
Configuration Management skills should be a plus

· 
Good team spirit

· 
Good relationship

Language Skills: fluent in French and a negotiation level in English
