Description of the job

Due to the upcoming launch of a fantastic new product line with revolutionary technology Airbus Defence and Space (ADS) is looking for Performance Management Analyst to work within our Secure Communications function in our flagship site in Stevenage. As a Performance Analyst you will need to support the Operative Planning and Forecasting process for Secure Communications, ensuring a viable business plan and its timely preparation in all aspects (incl workload) and for the complete business whilst facilitating the Strategy process with financial knowledge and ensuring value creation perspective in Strategy of Secure Communications.

Desired profile

Tasks & accountabilities

·  Owning the monthly reporting process for Secure Communications (including defining scope, structure/master data and IM implementation) in close cooperation with project teams and cost accounting.
·  Ensure transparency of actual performance at all times, providing business analysis for all financial aspects (profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow) as well as business drivers.
·  Ensure efficient alignment with stakeholders within the Programme Unit and wider matrix (e.g. Sales, Engineering)
·  As required facilitate other tasks (liquid team), e.g. bid process (Vetting), provide assessment of profitability and risk assessment
·  Coordinate the EAC process for Secure Communications
·  Ensure effective R&O process, coordinate risk and opportunity management and support effective internal controls and application of authorisations

Required skills

·  3+ years' experience within Financial analytics
·  SAP BW (MRT)
·  Strong skills using Microsoft Excel (pivot etc.) for data analysis.
·  Strong knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
