Job Description:

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a SAP Business Analyst (Product) to join our IT department based in Columbus, MS and Grand Prairie, TX.

This position can be located out of either Columbus, MS or Grand Prairie, TX.

This position supports Manufacturing Engineering, Quality and Procurement in North America. This role will be responsible for providing a high level of technical support for the applications for the Manufacturing Operations, Quality, Procurement and Master Data Departments. This customer facing role requires a combination of business and technical skills to solve business challenges with the use of technology.

For Columbus, MS:

On the eastern border of Mississippi you’ll find Columbus, home to our Helicopter manufacturing and assembly lines and Center of Excellence for the entire North America region. It’s here that we produce the UH-72A Lakota Helicopters for the U.S. Army in addition to the H-125 aircraft for civil and commercial customers.

For Grand Prairie, TX:

A suburb just outside the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area is home to Airbus Helicopters U.S. regional headquarters, where we have more than 1,000 employees. Your Challenges:

Application Development, Maintenance and Support: 40%

·  Deploys and supports SAP fulfilling local business needs in line with product alignment and for their assigned scope of work
·  Guarantees end-to-end services according to agreed SLAs established with the business
·  Liaises and synchronizes with different IM Domains teams to ensure smooth deployment and appropriate level of performance of the end to end services
·  Liaises with the business and IM teams back in Europe to support the design/development of solutions and prepare the deployment and support of those solutions
·  Performs all IM functional and technical activities related to product and service line
·  Follows strategic alignment of IM strategy and roadmap
·  Implements Products and Services in the North America Region (US) in line with Airbus overall standards as defined in Europe or in the frame of the Region.
·  Ensures Continuous Release Management
·  Cultivates innovation within the IM service lines and ensure a pipeline of innovative features and technologies is maintained to feed roadmap evolutions
·  Represents function and promotes its vision, value, services, and capabilities
·  Follows policies, standards and guidelines related to transverse governance and ensures are rigorously applied in their perimeter
·  Ensures continuity of product changes to ensure accurate alignment with concurring projects and tactical planning of product line
·  Ensures technical and functional processes are adhered to when testing tool solutions
·  Collaborates with business and IM colleagues to resolve product issues within respective service line and SLA requirements

Projects: 40%

·  Ensures and secure strategic vision alignment between the function and the Business
·  Leads project tasks/activities by practicing the appropriate methodology (waterfall, fast track, agile)
·  Partners with the business and other IM Domains/PSL/Products & Services to ensure proper design and implementation of Business solutions.
·  Ensures that projects are delivering the appropriate business value (savings, efficiency, business growth, etc.)

Planning & Budgeting: 10%

·  Supports Master Project Schedule
·  Identifies room for improvement and activate their function proactively
·  Identifies first area of savings

Additional Responsibilities: 10%

Other duties as assigned:

·  Collaborates with global Airbus IM Operations solutions counterparts to develop and improve standards
·  Ensures compliance with Airbus IM Operations solutions standards, security standards & evolving cyber security requirements

Your Boarding Pass:

·  Required: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience combination of education and experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology
·  Preferred: Master’s degree or equivalent experience
·  Required: Experience applying technology to solve business challenges
·  Required: Minimum of 5 years of associated work experience in SAP in either the PP or QM module
·  Preferred: 5 years within the Aerospace industry
·  Preferred: 5 years of Project Management experience in the manufacturing environment
·  Preferred: Experience with Waterfall, Agile, and other project management methodologies
·  Preferred: Understanding of Airbus IM standards, project and services methodologies, and procedures
·  Preferred: 2 years of experience in people management
·  Preferred: Knowledge of IT supplier landscape in North America
·  Preferred: Certifications: Agile, Safe
·  Required: Knowledge of the Industry area: Manufacturing, shop floor execution, FAL processes, quality
·  Required: Knowledge of software solutions SAP ERP
·  Required: Experience in working with multicultural teams
·  Required: Ability to adapt in a changing environment
·  Required: Able to work closely and effectively with all levels of business and IM management
·  Required: Recognizes, and focuses department on, high priority objectives
·  Required: Holds people accountable for results
·  Required: Inspires trust, demonstrates flexibility, encourages frequent open communications and welcomes feedback
·  Preferred: Understanding of SAP modules around area of focus
·  Required: Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form in English
·  Preferred: Spanish, German or French language skills
·  Required: Technical Proficiency: At least two of the three SAP-PP/MM/QM
·  Preferred: Technical Proficiency: SAP-PS/WM

Physical Requirements:

·  Onsite or remote: 90% onsite
·  Vision: able to see and read computer screen and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings daily.
·  Hearing: able to hear to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds including safety warnings or alarms daily
·  Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications daily.
·  Equipment Operation: able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment daily.
·  Carrying: able to carry documents, drawings, electronic equipment up to 10lbs daily

·  Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment rarely

·  Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving rarely
·  Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on production floor daily
·  Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice rarely
·  Walking: able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces daily
·  Administrative position only PPE required: Steel-toed shoes are required for all shop floor visit, appropriate hearing/eye protection may also be required when visiting the shop floor.
