Description of the job

A vacancy for a Product Engineer In-Service Support IT Solutions (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join “Diagnostics & Service Information”.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

Responsible provision of Data & Information Services specific IT applications in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
The applications include

·  Applications for processing data from various weapon systems

·  Applications for In-Service Event Reporting

·  Applications for carrying out analyses and product monitoring

·  Implementation of project activities such as reporting, milestone tracking and cost monitoring

·  Survey of IT-related business requirements and IT security concepts

·  Analysis of benchmarks

·  Discussion of possible implementation options with the supplier

·  Monitoring of the supplier during the implementation of the IT requirements (Scrum/JIRA)

·  Creation of test requirements

·  Consulting and training of internal and external customers

Required skills

– Degree in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Computer Science

·  Experience in software development projects through to customer delivery

·  Experience in software requirements and software testing

·  Knowledge of in-service support processes and associated toolsets

·  Experience in the application Dassault Systems 3D Experience advantageous

·  Knowledge of project management is an advantage

·  Knowledge in MS Office, database systems, network

·  Independent, responsible, able to work under pressure, persuasive with assertiveness

·  Fluent in German and English
