Description of the job

A vacancy for a Material Controller: Supply Chain and Stock Management has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Elancourt. You will join the Electronic Equipment Industrial Management and Plant stocks Department .

Tasks & accountabilities

In the frame of manufacturing of electronic modules for space applications, your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Managing governance of material demand,
·  Ensuring the availability of all parts at the beginning of manufacturing (on cost, on time, on quality),
·  Managing a stock of EEE and industrial parts in a dedicated perimeter,
·  Reviewing the bill of materials for each subassembly, early as possible in the design phase,
·  Analysing MRP (based on SAP) and releasing purchase requisition,
·  Optimising procured quantity and cost of the inventory,
·  Monitoring overall stock value and ensuring it is kept to an agreed level,
·  Promoting use/reuse of available stock,
·  Interfacing with EEE centre and General procurement,
·  Treating the non-conformance, ITAR, warning notice, etc.,
·  Consolidating the quotation in your perimeter and advising projects when evolution,
·  Ensuring material forecast management,
·  Providing financial analysis of stock values (moving average price, etc.).

This role will involve very occasional travels for business in Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to a 2-year degree level (or equivalent) in Procurement or Engineering,
·  Experience in supply chain will be appreciated,
·  An activity carried out for space, military or medical applications will be appreciated,
·  Knowledge of SAP MRP tool, EEE parts for space applications and/or general mechanicals principles,
·  Adaptability and polyvalence, capacity to analyse and to have a synthetic view,
·  Autonomy, method and meticulous approach,
·  Language Skills: advanced level of English, fluent level of French.
