Description of the job

One vacancy for a Work Preparation (m/f) has arisen within Nantes.

Within the Production System Efficiency department, you will be a focal point on the Manufacturing Engineering process, methods and tool for Airbus Nantes plant.

The ME process, methods and tools focal point has to support the Manufacturing Engineering population in their potential day to day issues with our processes, to make our processes evolve to take into account the business constraint, to deploy new methods & tools, to ensure to right application of those methods & tools and to follow the plant Manufacturing Engineering population competences improvement.

Tasks & accountabilities

Support Nantes plant serial process engineer on their process, methods and tolls issues.
Attend to work preparation business meeting with work preparation team leaders and heads of manufacturing engineering services in the production units. Be involved in the problem solving process.

• Lead new tools/process deployment projects within the manufacturing engineering units. Build (business case, schedule, stakeholders definition) and manage the projects (drumbeat and communication). Check project objective and customer satisfaction achievement.

• Ensure the application of Airbus Manufacturing Engineering standards. Maintain the referential documentation. Be the interface between the central process owner and the local process engineer.

• Manage subcontracted activities. Check and validate deliverables quality, prepare the work specification and follow the deliveries, estimate the deliverables volume on short and mid-term.

• Rely on Airbus Manufacturing Engineering expert community to propose innovating and efficient solution to the production units.
