Description of the job

A vacancy for a Junior Software Engineer - Simulation (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join “Simulation & Test Environment”.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Design, develop, and maintain software for our simulation & test environments for various aircraft development programs, projects and initiatives.
·  Evolve of our middleware technologies for distributed & real-time applications.
·  Contribute actively to further strengthen the role of simulation & virtual testing within avionics engineering
·  Apply state-of-the-art technologies and techniques.
·  Support architectural teams with software concepts and technologies.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  University Degree with a focus on computer science
·  Practical experience in software development
·  Technical knowledge in the field of C/C++
·  English: fluent / business fluent
