Description of the job

In 2019 for Airbus Defence and Space in Manching we are looking for several Junior In-Service System Engineers EF Avionics (m/f). The successful applicants will join „TASSC2-TL1 System Analysis Avionics 1”.

Tasks & accountabilities

·  Direct (if required also on site) technical support of the flying EUROFIGHTER associations of the German Air Force at home and abroad

·  Execution, evaluation & documentation of complex tests & analyses within the scope of development (hardware & software) & use (among others
Problem & performance analysis) of the weapon system EUROFIGHTER

·  Preparation of the (national) technical documentation of the weapon system EUROFIGHTER

·  Carrying out training measures for military departments (technical ground personnel & pilots)

·  Cross-system and (international) cooperation with other departments, companies & military customer representatives

Required skills

You have the following knowledge and qualifications:

·  You have successfully completed your studies as an engineer, computer scientist or similar.

·  You are interested in the cross-system and cross-sector processing of technically complex projects and systems

·  You have initial experience in technical project management

·  Initial experience with military customers (structures, ranks) is an advantage

·  Fluent in German; good knowledge of English

·  IT knowledge (MS-Office applications, Matlab, programming language ADA or similar)

·  Basic knowledge of quality standards, (software) development processes as well as civil and military certification procedures is advantageous.

·  You have a high degree of flexibility and willingness to undertake national and international business trips as well as needs-dependent shift work and on-call duty

·  You are independent, responsible, able to work under pressure, strong in communication and above all able to work in a team.
