As part of a school curriculum in initial training , you are looking for a mandatory internship or integrated into a gap year that will allow you to validate your studies. The internship duration is 6 months maximum.

We are looking for a FLIGHT SIMULATION ENGINEER (m/f) who will be joining us at Airbus site in BLAGNAC .

This internship is to be filled from JANUARY 2020 (keep in mind that hiring process takes about 4 months, from the validation of Job Requisition) (the dates are subject to a certain flexibility)

You will be joining the department « Flight Dynamics Simulation » which activities include the delivery of aircraft data enabling the fidelity of simulation behaviour and the worldwide support of all Airbus typed full flight simulators.

The Flight Dynamic Simulation Group is part of the Aircraft Simulation Solutions organization in Airbus Services. We provide and support data & models for Flight Training Devices. Our Products and Services are delivered to Customers worldwide such as Airlines, Training Simulator Manufacturers and or Training Centers.

The objective of the internship is to automatize reports and explore algorithms to deliver the proof of fidelity of dynamical models

·  Tasks and Responsibilities :

You will be working under the supervision of your manager who will help you identify your professional objectives and support you in the development of your skills.

We offer a 6-month internship: You will join the team of flight simulation experts and will work on software tools.

You will get the opportunity to handle exciting engineering data sets, using latest data analytics tools, which will give you a great insight into aircraft dynamics and full flight simulator qualification.

Your main activities will include:

·  Dealing with flight & simulator data in order to:
·  Evaluate & analyze data on the qualification of full flight simulators
·  Working on criteria’s for the proof of simulation fidelity
·  Propose & test algorithms implementing the proposed evaluation criteria’s

·  Required skills :

You are preparing a diploma level M.Sc. / Bac+5 , in aeronautical or computer engineering or equivalent, with specialisation in simulation of dynamical systems and you obtain following competences:

- English: ADVANCE

- Your first experience in machine learning & software development

- You are able to use proficiently such tools as Matlab, Python

·  Soft skills:

You are rigorous, curious and autonomous, are able to analyze information, convey it efficiently to peers and are a good team player.
