Department : Flight Physics Capabilities

Internship Program (Title) : Sorting tool development

Main responsibilities : At present, a Fortran based tool is used to sort large data and generate 1D, 2D data in specific format. The same is now migrated in Python with basic functionality. The mission of this internship is to make this tool more efficient, handling multiple inputs (1000’s of file),enhance the functionalities and perform arithmetic operations on Structural Loads data.

Main activities : 

Improve the tool efficiency to handle multiple files in the same manner as the existing Fortran tool.

Implement new specifications.

Skills : 

Experience in Python advanced Coding- Pandas, Numpy, Scipy, multithreading, memory management (Must Have).

Experience in Sorting algorithms (Must Have)

Experience in Python profiling(Optional).

Specialization/Stream :  Candidate with any engineering background and very good coding experience in Python.

Duration of Internship : 6 months .
