As part of our strategy to improve the quality of the supply chain using appropriate and innovative logistical means, we are looking for several motivated students to do internships in this field and join our multicultural teams within Airbus Commercial Aircraft and/or Airbus Defence & Space based in Toulouse.
You are solution oriented in the application of new methods within your specialty. Depending on the project you will be working on, you will have the opportunity to develop different skills such as teamwork, communication, project management.
You will be accompanied by a tutor who will help you identify your professional objectives and support you in developing your skills.
All positions are to be filled from 1 January 2019 (date subject to flexibility)

Tasks & accountabilities

Within the Supply Chain team affiliated to one or more programs, your potential and your ideas are of interest to us. You will participate, with our teams, in projects/subjects such as :

·  Contributing to procurement and supply chain improvement and transformation projects
·  Identifying areas for improvement in the area of supplier relations
·  Suggesting improvement solutions with a deployment plan
·  Monitoring supplier performance through performance indicators: identify weaknesses, capacities, areas for improvement
·  Helping create new operational oversight procedures
·  Conducting cause analyses in conjunction with the various stakeholders (suppliers, production sectors)
·  Interfacing with different stakeholders within the plant
·  Accompanying change in a digital transformation context.

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Required skills

Graduated of a 4 year degree level diploma, you are looking for a 4 to 6 month internship in order to validate your Master 2 or do an internship in Logistics, Procurement or Supply Chain (or equivalent diploma).

·  You have a good knowledge of the Supply Chain, Project Management and Lean Methodologies.
·  Have an Advanced level of negotiation in English and French.
·  You are rigorous, curious, autonomous and have a sense of relationships.
·  Are recognized for your organizational qualities, your ability to synthesize.
·  You have a pronounced interest in the aeronautical field.
·  You master the Office Pack and have the knowledge of digital solutions
