About us: 

Working with the Airbus Commercial Wings team in Broughton, you'll be part of a group that's essential to the entire production process. We're the guardians of our product, responsible for guaranteeing the traceability, quality, safety, and airworthiness of all manufactured and sub-contracted products and services. Our goal is to ensure our customers have complete trust and confidence in the products we deliver.

As an intern, you'll have a unique opportunity to see how the Quality function plays a vital role in the Airbus production system. You won't just be watching; you'll be actively involved, taking ownership of your own tasks and projects. This is your chance to contribute directly to ensuring our products are the best they can possibly be, all while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a critical area of the business.

What you will be doing:

During this internship, the activities you will undertake are likely to include:

· 
Developing and deploying projects starting with the gathering of requirements from business teams, exploring potential data sources and tool options, data product preparation, dashboard development and testing followed by user acceptance testing and deployment;

· 
Delivering changes, best practices, synergies and promoting business excellence by working with the Quality transnational teams to deploy harmonised Quality Standards and supporting processes;

· 
Supporting and potentially leading business improvement projects with an ultimate aim of improving our product and business processes;

· 
Familiarisation with digital tools including Google Suite and big data tools to analyse data in order to support non-conformance reduction.

Requirements:

Our placements are open to Undergraduates only . Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:

· 
Studying towards a degree in Aerospace, Manufacturing Engineering, Business, Digital, Data Science or equivalent degree;

· 
Passion about Airbus and the aviation industry;

· 
Proficient oral and written communication skills;

· 
Collaborates well within a team;

· 
Ability to adapt quickly.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.
