Tasks & accountabilities

During the 12 Month Internship, you will support the HR Business Partner team in Portsmouth in the delivery of a full range of HR services within the framework of the HR strategy. You will provide support to all aspects of HR process to ensure the successful implementation of HR policies and initiatives within Airbus. This is a varied role and you will have the opportunity to support in a broad range of areas, including:

·  Attendance management
·  Recruitment and headcount mastering
·  Grievance and disciplinary
·  HR Improvement activities, including implementation of new tools and processes
·  Ad-hoc support to Employment Marketing team, including aspects of budget control
·  Support the Head of HR (Portsmouth) with the organisation of site specific events, e.g. VIP visits and promotional events.

Required skills

Please note our Internships are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:

·  Currently studying towards a degree in Human Resources, Business or related subject.
·  A demonstrated interest in HR.
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
·  Proactive with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
·  Excellent organisational skills, including strong attention to detail.

The successful candidate will be subject to UK National Security Clearance in order to undertake related work in accordance with business needs.
