Job Description

Start date: Jan / Feb 2020 (date subject to some flexibility)

Within the central Engineering department of Airbus Defense and Space the candidate will join the team in charge of the conformity to the Health, Safety and Environmental rules that can affect the design of its products. The 6 month mission can be located in one of the 4 countries hosting the team. The selected intern will participate to various key tasks to support ADS Engineers and Projects and will be in particular responsible for the improvement of methods and tools developed for the ADS Product Safety Management System.
 

Tasks

During this internship, the activities you may undertake will include;

·  Identification of services (documentations, methods, web support, trainings…) internally and externally (ADS diagnosis / benchmark with other company) to develop a catalog of services for Product Safety Compliance;
·  Consolidation of legal requirements knowledge from EU and non-EU;
·  Support to internal Network mgmt and Training offer (classroom, rich media);
·  Set up and Coordination of communities of Specialists;
·  Development of Control and Audit Strategy:

Our Internships are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following;

·  IT: Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency and good level in Information Management in general is appreciated (knowlegde in Google Suite can be a plus);
·  Product Safety Compliance: it will be sought preferably people with knowledge in Product Safety (Risks from Electricity, Electromagnetism, Mechanism, Pressure, Explosive Atmosphere…) and associated European Product Safety Rules (CE Marking, Liability for Defective Products, EMCD, LVD, RED...) / Knowledge of European regulation related to Environment is well appreciated also (REACH, ROHS/WEEE…).

·  Customer-oriented, to propose pragmatic solutions contributing to internal processes improvement and efficient service provision;
