Description of the job

A vacancy for an Electrical systems (ATA 24 - 92 -33) and future concepts tests engineer (m/f) has arisen within Airbus in Toulouse.

The trend is to develop systems with more and more electric functions and Airbus architectures are more and more electric since our first product.
In this context, testing electrical systems is key for our actual and future developments.

You will join the test team ensuring the preparation, carrying out the test and providing analysed results on ATA24, ATA92 and ATA33 systems.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include

·  Working on A350 tests (ATA24 flight test analysis) in a first step to secure the A350-1000 certification, EIS and -900/1000 maturity topics and then moving on research projects related to e-taxi, engine hybridization, more electric Aircraft.
·  Working on other transverse missions on innovation and participating to projects with Engine, Fuel and Landing gear team.

This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to Engineering level (or equivalent) in Electronics or a related discipline.
·  Electronics knowledge is mandatory

·  ATA 24 knowledge is desirable
