A vacancy for an IoT Platform – Business Analyst (m/f) has arisen within Airbus in Toulouse, to support the IoT team as part of the Information and Communication Management (IM) organisation.

Our objective is to quickly design and develop IoT Platform and services in order to provide value and agility to its Business via self-service, automation and professional support services. In this context Airbus starts the creation of an IoT Platform.

You will built with autonomy and creativity AIRBUS IT transformation to digital area.

This role will involve some travels for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

As IoT Platform – Business analyst, your main task and responsibilities will include:

·  Translates the business needs into IoT requirements and proactively identify opportunities of for business transformation or improvement enabled by technology
·  Identifiy the Business value
·  Develops a solid understanding of the customer's existing business and business processes ideally end-to-end, the key drivers and measures of success for the business, and the short- and long-term direction of the business and related technologies
·  Translates understanding and knowledge of the business into feasible IT Products in collaboration with the IT Product Manager while ensuring that the developed solutions are inline with evolving customer needs
·  Conducts in-depth discovery meetings, targeted at understanding, capturing, and identifying the complex business requirements and operational objectives of the customer, with recommendations on automation
·  Produces documentation of current challenges, future requirements, and benefits in a manner appropriate for the customer
·  Defines and develop the required specification documents to be reviewed with stakeholders and Product team members
·  Monitors external business trends in order to better challenge the business requirements
·  Serves as liaison between Product Management teams and technical resources during product development and implementation to ensure integrity of the solution delivered
