The Digital Accelerator is an integral part of Airbus' IT department and is building and operating new business platforms and services adopting new technologies, automation, digital native skills and agile ways of working to accelerate our digitalization journey. The Digital Accelerator is about making the benefits of digital technologies available to Airbus so we can bring value to market much faster, while retaining quality and scale.

Three vacancies of AWS Cloud Architect have arisen within Airbus in Toulouse.

With the Digital Transformation of Airbus, the information technology of the company is completely redesigned, looking for creating added value for the business. Cloud is one of the main enabler of this transformation. In that context, Airbus IT teams are entirely reshaped and looking for new skills & potentials.

Task & accountabilities :
As the future job holder you will combine engineering experience and an innate drive to improve existing systems and processes with the creativity to develop novel solutions to evolving challenges.
As AWS Cloud Architect, you will:
• Design the infrastructure to be implemented in the Cloud for application products via high-available, scalable, maintainable, monitored systems and services They use “infrastructure as a code” concepts to implement designed infrastructure in collaboration with SREs team.
• Reshape traditional IT environment and design to enable Cloud Platforms adoption to our business. Contribute to design and implement new infrastructure operating model making best use of cloud solutions.
• We are looking for talented people able to shape & design, to implement, to manage & deploy our digital transformation where the Cloud technology is a key enabler, providing means for our businesses to further innovate and/or speed-up innovation.

To be considered you will need to confirm one or several of the following points in your skills profile:

• Bachelor to Master Degree in a Technical/IT discipline or equivalent experience,
• 2 to 5+ years of experience with Linux system administration (RHEL or CentOS preferred),
• 3+ years of experience building and deploying cloud solutions (AWS preferred),
• Proven track record in an Agile/DevOps environment,
• Good scripting ability in Python, Go, Java, Bash or JavaScript,
• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google),
• Experience with OS Automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef),
• Terraform ninja will be a plus,
• Passion for emerging technology and excited at the prospect of building upon your existing technical knowledge and learning new skills,
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision,
• Strong analytical problem solving ability,
• Unwavering commitment to operational security and best practices,
• Advanced level of English,
• Advanced level of French would be appreciated.
