We develop and construct 3D CAD models for A321/A319 together with all involved parties. These 3D models will be used in our paint shops to paint and to mark the external surface of an aircraft. You will be responsible for delivering External Livery and Markings Customer 3D models on time. You will ensure the quality and compliance with Airworthiness, Airbus standards and customer specifications of deliverables.

What can you expect?

·  Developing and designing from external liveries and external markings to customers and product requirements, as well as after valid aviation construction specifications.
·  Coordinating the production of correct construction documents (2D drawings and 3D-modelling) while taking into account BOH (Bauunterlagen-Organisations-Handbuch), ADSR (Aircraft drawing System Rules)
·  Developing and adapting external markings based on customer specifications and coordination sheets
·  Coordinating the required component and/or material procurement of design parts
·  Ensuring the deadlines
·  Presenting the 3D-model to the airline and, if necessary ad hoc implementation of minor changes due to airline request.

This role will involve some travel for business (approx. once a year) worldwide and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

What does you boarding pass look like?

·  You hold a university degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or a related discipline
·  You bring several years of Engineering experience, cabin customisation, design & manufacturing & configuration management
·  You have in-depth knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, CATIA V4/V5, CATIA VPM, Microsoft Office, 3D-COM and of Bills of Material Tools (e. g. Taksy)
·  You are a team player and have good presentation skills
·  You have a creative innovative mind-set and a high degree of initiative
·  Language Skills: a negotiation level of German and English is required
