Description of the job

A vacancy has opened at Airbus Broughton for the position Digitalisation Data Analyst. The successful candidate will primarily manage projects focussed on Big Data Analytics, Problem Solving and visual application development.

The role will encompass the development of Digital solutions to business problems. You will define, analyse, document and represent these solutions to improve business performance, focusing on end user experience. Automation of data gathering and representation will also be a key part of the role, primarily using the Skywise platform to develop Digital Control Rooms. As a local expert you will support the development of others whilst we undertake our digital journey, therefore people and communication skills will be essential.

To be successful in this position you need to be a highly motivated and results driven individual, who can demonstrate appropriate experience of delivering Digital Solutions in a fast paced and challenging environment. The ability to engage and influence all levels of the business is key along with a talent to deliver creative solutions within process compliance constraints. This team operates in a flexible and adaptable fashion focusing on trust. You will be required to work autonomously whilst ensuring you manage your internal and external stakeholders effectively.

Tasks & accountabilities

The main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Delivery of Digital Solutions to resolve business problems.
·  Automation of Data Gathering and representation.
·  Development of Digital Applications via Skywise.
·  Be the team focal point for Data Analytics and programming best practices.

This role may involve travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Previous experience in Project Management (Agile/LBIP).
·  Strong skills in querying languages such as SQL.
·  Expertise in Scripting languages, Python being essential.
·  Good knowledge of Statistical Languages such as R, SPSS.
·  Expert in MS Excel.
·  Strong level of Statistical knowledge coupled with problem solving skills.
·  Excellent stakeholder management skills at all levels.
·  Previous knowledge of the Skywise Platform or Palantir products would be a plus but not essential.
·  English language at negotiation level, other languages would be an asset.
