To strengthen our team at Airbus Defence and Space in Manching, we are looking for a

Configuration Manager and Data Manager (CM & DM) for Eurofighter Simulation Programs (d/f/m)

Eurofighter Typhoon is the world’s most advanced swing-role combat aircraft providing simultaneously deployable Air-to-Air and Air-to-Surface capabilities. Airbus is acting as the main contractor within the industrial Pilot Synthetic Training System consortium. Combat Training Systems department develops state-of-the-art Eurofighter (EF) simulator systems. Long term, multinational, large scale system of systems programs is the best place to learn and perform engineering activities.

Your tasks and responsibilities

· 
Maintain and control configuration baselines for documentation, hardware and software components

· 
Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements in the configuration management process

· 
Prepare and maintain the project document templates

· 
Ensure that documentation is managed correctly, emphasizing the storage, releasing, distribution and archiving of documents and data (SVN), as well as the process tools used in EF projects (JIRA/Confluence)

· 
Support loading of the complete Product Structure into PDM

· 
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on configuration, data requirements and change control

· 
Create and maintain Configuration Management Plans (CMP) and Data Management Plans (DMP) and ensure compliance with the established processes

· 
Assist in the creation and maintenance of Product Breakdowns Structure (PBS)

· 
Verify and facilitate data exchange between industry and customer database systems with different configurations

· 
Performance of Configuration verification and audit

Desired skills and qualifications

· 
Completed degree or comparable qualification

· 
Proven experience in configuration and data management, preferably in the training and flight simulation industry

· 
Familiarity with Eurofighter programs and simulators is highly desirable

· 
Knowledge of configuration and data management tools and principles (at least 1 year of experience)

· 
Knowledge of Atlassian Tools, Subversion, Office Suite

· 
Fluent written and spoken English; knowledge of German and/or Spanish is an advantage
