Job Description

The Big Data for Eurofighter (BDFE) Team at Airbus Defence and Space is searching for a Working Student (max. 18h/week) for system and product support.

Site: Manching

Start: Spring 202

The new colleague will be part of the team and perform supporting tasks in the area of data science and data engineering, ranging from pure analysis tasks to system architecture.

Required qualifications:

·           Being currently enrolled to a degree in an analytical science (in particular mathematics, statistics, physics, or computer science)
·           Programming experience in a corporate environment (ideally with Python, but other languages, such as Java or C, are acceptable)
·           Being fluent in English

Recommended qualifications:

·           Ideally, candidates should have experience in working with statistical languages, such as R
·           Experience in documenting results is an advantage (e.g. Confluence, Webpage designe, E-book publishing)

Prerequisites
