Description of the job :
A vacancy for an AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE and Engineering TECHNICIAN (m/f) has arisen within Airbus in Toulouse (Blagnac and Colomiers sites).
You will join the Maintenance teams of Airbus Transport International (ATI) within Technical Operations department.

We are a team of around 70 persons in charge of the line and base maintenance of 5 A300-600ST in service Aircraft (Belugas). By the end of 2019, current fleet will be strengthened by the entry into service of the Beluga XL (A330-743L).

You will ensure a multi ATA first level of engineering within the ATI part 145 maintenance organization, by providing Engineering support to the maintenance teams which are divided in 3 groups/activities:

- A/C technicians in charge of Maintenance tasks embodiment.
- Maintenance Control which insures fleet survey and the coordination with Maintenance & Beluga Operations.
- Production and Planning Control in charge of the maintenance tasks scheduling and preparation.

This role will require working in shifts (from 7.00 am to 10.pm from Mondays to Saturday and standby on Sunday),

Task & accountabilities :
Your main tasks and responsibilities will consist in supporting all maintenance teams during line and base maintenance (check A) activities for scheduled or unscheduled tasks (AOG: Aircraft on Ground, situations), in terms of:

• Trouble shooting.
• Aircraft Maintenance tasks preparation & embodiment.
• Coordination with Maintenance Control & Production & Planning Control groups.

Required skills :
You will have the following skills and experience:

Educated to Bac+3 degree level (or equivalent) in A/C maintenance or a related discipline.
• Experience in A300-600ST and/or WB aircraft (A300-600/A310) & A330.
• Experience in base and line maintenance / Part 145 Regulation & Environment knowledge / Part M basics.
• Multi ATA knowledge and experience.
• Knowledge of the Airbus AIRNAVX documentation environment / AMM (Aircraft Maintenance Manual) & IPC (illustrated Part Catalogue knowledge) in particular.
• Knowledge of Airline Maintenance Information System (AMASIS would be a plus)
• Microsoft Office Advanced Level.
• Understanding of Customers operational constraints.
• Solution oriented.
• Efficiency / Ability to cope with highly demanding environments (AOG situations) / Flexibility in terms of tasks).
• Good coordination and relational skills.
• Team player in cross functional environment.
• Communication skills.
• Language Skills: advanced level of English and negotiation level of French.

This position has been graded Technician.
