In the context of the Airbus Interiors Services (AIS) business transformation, the ERP Change project aims at integrating the core business processes (planning, purchasing, manufacturing, sales, marketing, finance, human resources) into a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.

A vacancy for a 6 months internship as Information System Engineer has arisen within Airbus Interiors Services in Blagnac. You will be working within the Airbus Interiors Services Information Systems team, supporting the ERP Change Project Leader throughout the mission.

You will support and facilitate the operational change of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system throughout the company’s functions at Airbus Interiors Services. In particular, you will plan, test and document the software solution against the business requirements needed principally for the company’s ERP data migration phase. You will ensure the requirements are met by designing and developing the necessary code, execute test cases to verify the successful implementation of data migration and document the test results.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Designing the data migration architecture required for the data transfer from the existing software system to the new ERP

·  Documenting the software and test requirements related to the migration tasks

·  Developing software, tools and scripts that will be necessary during the implementation and migration phases of the project

·  Verifying that the test requirements are met by executing the necessary test cases and documenting the test results

·  Assisting in the design, implementation and testing of customizations and interfaces that may be needed for the ERP adaptation to the AIS software environment.

You will not only experience how information is exchanged between the different Airbus Interiors Services departments from a macroscopic high level perspective, but also zoom-in to the everyday tasks and data required to accomplish short and mid-term objectives.

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to Master level (or equivalent) in Information Technology or a related discipline.

·  Experience or knowledge in Designing, implementing, testing, documenting software requirements

·  Experience in assessing the impacts of business requirements on existing software

·  Abilities to propose alternative solutions on complex software problems

·  Very good experience with databases, SQL, VBA, Google Apps Script

·  Good knowledge of SOA, Web services, RESTful APIs, SOAP, JMS, XML

·  Knowledge of networks and internet protocols

·  Knowledge of ERP systems would be a plus

·  Knowledge of Agile software development would be a plus

·  Communication skills

·  Team player

·  Autonomous

·  Languages: Negotiation level in English and French is mandatory
