The Team and Role

The marketing services team is responsible for the delivery of communications, PR, media, creative, web, content and digital services to the business. Supporting the marketing business units and sales teams by delivering high quality consistent content to support lead generation through campaigns and inbound marketing.

Managing and evolving the Advanced brand equity, promoting and maintaining tone of voice via digital and traditional content, maximising inbound opportunities through the website and innovative use of tools and technology and owning the communication both internally and externally with colleagues, customers and prospects alike.

The Requirements

Reporting to the Head of Creative, Digital and Web the Front-End Web Developer will be motivated to combine the art of design alongside the art of programming. The key responsibility will be to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role in defining how the website looks as well as how it works.

Role Responsibilities

·  Develop new user-facing features
·  Build reusable code and libraries for future use
·  Translation of design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application
·  Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
·  Optimise application for maximum speed and scalability
·  Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
·  Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
·  Be forthcoming with ideas and creative ways to work around issues or roadblocks

You will have:

·  Proficient understanding ofAsp .Net MVC, HTML & CSS, Angular JS and C# for web and email
·  Best practice guru - with a real passion for coding standards
·  Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as gulp and node
·  Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
·  Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them
·  Track record of making great interactive web apps or websites, using HTML5, jQuery, Bootstrap and others
·  Knowledge of Marketing automation systems and optimising web interactions such as form fill, landing page, email templates & tracking would be beneficial
·  Able to demonstrate fantastic and beautiful work - with great visuals and animation - and perfect responsive design
·  Development and deployment experience with Episerver
·  Have the passion and thoroughness for creating error free, maintainable code
·  Be a self-starter - self-motivated and driven - you’ll push us forward and bring your ideas and excitement to the team
·  Be a good communicator - someone who gets across your excitement about what you do and inspires confidence
