Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Our Global IT Corporate Marketing & Operations team drives and accelerates adidas’ concept-to-shelf process through innovative technologies to improve the availability of all our products. During this internship, you will work in a team of experts on digital processes, methods and tools for our Sourcing and Logistics colleagues.

Key Responsibilities and Projects in bullet points:

· Translate business requirements into IT solutions
· Support service management with problem solving, reporting, data analysis and presentation development
· Support project management with process analysis, reporting, data analysis, and presentation development
· Support the department with research and/or coding on new tools to enable communication and service delivery

Key Objectives (special tasks and learnings):

The intern shall bring his or her skills to the team while simultaneously learning how a business function-focused IT team operates on a daily level and a tactical level. The intern will learn the importance of a strong business case as well as the business criticality of smooth and stable operations of software applications.

Required main study courses:

Business Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Logistics

Required language skills:

· Fluent English requried
· Strong Cantonese preferred
· Strong Mandarin is a bonus

Additional skills/ qualifications:

· Proficient in Microsoft Office
· Strong communication skills
· Pro-active mindset
· Coding experience a plus, especially mobile apps

Internship regulations:

The internship is 6 months full time starting in January 2019

Student must be enrolled at the university for the complete duration of the internship
