Purpose

As a Technical Product Owner in the Web and Mobile Personalization Platform/Component Team you are responsible for the quality and strategic impact of your Product. Together with your agile team you work on continuously improving and evolving the Product in order to optimize the value for the consumer(s).

Partnering with Product Areas and other stakeholders to define a product backlog, managing capability expansion increments and leading the team towards new functionalities & best practice definitions are a few examples of the activities that will be expected from this role. Additionally, you will be cooperating with various internal stakeholders, including Markets and other DBC and Digital IT areas to drive the features of the Product.

Key Accountabilities

Product Strategy & Delivery

· Be accountable for the product success considering the requirements of the teams using the Platform/Component
· Specify the product vision and roadmap together with the Product Area Lead and Tech Lead
· Be responsible for product delivery in line with the roadmap and committed delivery dates.
· Identify and solve dependencies with other product owners and technical leads to ensure efficient delivery.

Stakeholder Management

· Represent the Personalization Component/Platform product and foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that their views and requirements are captured in the product backlog.
· Backlog Management
· Prioritize the items in your product backlog. Specify the definition-of-done in cooperation with the product team.
· Ensure an MVP mindset is in place when defining deliveries
· Own the refinement of your product backlog to ensure that the product team is delivering the right enhancements to drive consumer and business value.
· Provide acceptance for delivered backlog items by the team, in line with the definition-of-done

Knowledge, Capabilities and Experience

· End-to-end understanding of capabilities in the domain.
· Strong knowledge of the digital product landscape and underlying IT solutions in his domain.
· Technically savvy individual who stays up with trends in the digital marketing industry
· Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills with experience providing direction and context to remote development teams
· Solid expertise in the use of agile/ scrum methods.
· Solid experience in interacting with business partners.
· Strong understanding of Frontend and Backend Web technologies
· Ideally working experience as a Web Developer
· Strong communication skills

Qualifications

· Four-year college or university degree with focus on IT, or equivalent combination of education and experience
· Minimum of 5 years of progressive work experience, at least 2 years in an IT delivery role
